DTG (Direct-to-Garment)
DTG is a print method where a specialised textile printer sprays ink directly onto the fabric — comparable to an inkjet printer.
Why it matters
DTG allows highly detailed, photo-realistic artwork and is ideal for small runs. Wash-fastness depends heavily on fabric, pre-treatment and curing — on average lower than screen printing.
For durable, larger gym-wear graphics, screen printing usually wins. DTG shines in small runs and complex artwork.
