DTF (Direct-to-Film)
DTF is a print method where artwork is printed onto a film first and then transferred to the fabric with heat and pressure.
Why it matters
DTF is cheap, flexible, and works on many materials. The look often skews slightly plasticky, and durability under heavy wear is lower than screen printing.
If a print feels very smooth and film-like in a touch test, it’s often DTF (or classic heat-transfer vinyl).
