Data transparency
What happens to your fitness inputs
Your calculator inputs stay in the browser
Body weight, measurements, nutrition and training inputs can be personal information. Performance Lab calculators are built so these entries are processed directly in your browser for the calculation.
We do not turn those entries into a personal fitness record in an application database and we do not use them to build advertising profiles. Locally stored history and Fitness Identity data remain in your device's browser storage where the relevant feature uses local storage.
That does not mean: zero technical data
A published website depends on technical infrastructure. Hosting, CDN and platform services may therefore process technical logs and telemetry such as IP address, browser or device information, pages accessed, timestamps or technical error data.
That technical processing is different from storing your body, nutrition or training inputs as a personal user profile. Our privacy page provides the more detailed description.
Local data belongs to your device
If you clear browser storage or change devices, locally stored data may be lost. Where export or backup functions exist, you can use them to keep your own copy.
Our goal is a clear technical boundary: as little personal fitness data as the product needs, no hidden fitness record, and no monetisation of your calculator inputs.
